Fun Xmas costume!
Considering this is regularly 80 bucks for a size small and they have a 50% off coupon that’s pretty awesome. 40 bucks for this is a good deal.For the pros and cons:Only two pretty small ones, it would be nice if the booties coat and hat all matched in the same color, red and same material. I really like the dark red velvet of the booties. But small potatoes.The pants are just a pinch tighter than I would like, but I am glad that they are fitted rather than super baggy like most costumes are.PROS:I like my clothes and costumes to be Fitted… And this nails, its spot on. I am around 170 cm tall or 67 inches around 163 pounds and Where 33/30 pants and the small fits really well. With the caveat that the pants are pinched tighter than I prefer but again I appreciate that this isn’t baggy & oversized like most costumes.The booties are made from an elastic type of velvet. It seems and they snuggly grab your feet. They fit very well. The pants have a white waistband and white band at the end of the legs I guess to symbolize maybe top of the boots and then green fur in the middle. The coat fits very well. It’s not overly oversized. There’s a little bit of room in it but it’s comfortable and definitely not baggy which is great. Do you have a good quality zipper that goes up the front and the button to hide the zipper. The belt is a thin plastic with gold grommets and gold buckle , it seems sized for pretty much anybody. I guess they probably use the same belt on all the costumes which is fine. They have one of those belt things on your left side so you can hold any extra length without it flapping all over.The gloves are a green spandex with green fur on top of the back the hands. So they hold well to your hands and give you some sense of touch. Tapping on your phone is hitting miss but if you try enough, it will work. I’d recommend either cutting out a finger or adding conductive sewing thread to the fingertips so you can use a touch device with these gloves on.The mask is a nice screenprint have the vet or a nice airbrush job and it has actual fake yellow eyes on it and hard clear plastic it does have little slots adjacent to the eyes for your own eyes to look through. You can see through them certainly not the best visibility worst case scenario, you could always cut the rest of the eyes out, but the mask is pretty cool. It would be even better to adhere it to your face and cut away the jaw portion and either paint the bottom of your face green to be the draw or glue this jaw on your face or something so you can actually talk . It has green hair, but it doesn’t go all the way down the back of your head so I imagine the back of my neck is hanging out. The green fur on the mask Is a darker shade than that on the hands and legs. Not a big deal, however, it would be nice if it was consistent. It would also contrast better with the darker face. Because having made this fur darker, basically matches it to the face which takes away the contrast between them which would have been nice to have.The Santa hat fits snuggly over top of thee mask. It does not have any stretch to it, however it did seem to hold well while it was on my head with the green mask on top.All in all this is a pretty fun costume. I look forward to wearing it to Christmas, and to my kids preschool so I can read the book of How ‘I’ Stole Christmas. 😃
